Swim Lessons, Session 1 BEGINNER and INTERMEDIATE

If your swimmer is just starting out, BEGINNER is the level for them. The focus is on water acclimation and the student has so far been unable to go underwater on their own. They have also not started floating independently or with swimming actual strokes yet. 

If your student is not yet able to swim more than a few yards on their own, but can float independently, then your student is INTERMEDIATE.  This is student may just be starting to try strokes but they are not doing it well or efficiently yet. 

If your swimmer can swim one length of the pool independently, then they should not be signing up for lessons at Cambridge, they should be on the SWIM TEAM. Swim team is designed to help swimmers improve their stroke techniques. It is a good deal for the money with about 30 hours of instruction  for $75 for members, $100 non-members.
