BBQ and key pickup this Thurs!

We open this week! I can’t believe it has been a year!

As I hinted to in prior communications, we will have the normal BBQ potluck and season kickoff this Thursday, May 21, 4-7pm. Bring a dish to share and meat and beverages for your group. The BBQ will be ready to go. You can see our new drainage system for the swamp and we also have a new surprise for the kids (10 and under) that will be unveiled.

• If you are new to Cambridge, stop on by! We will get you set up and answer any questions you may have. It is also a nice time to swim and meet your fellow members.

• If you already have a FOB from last year, I encourage you to come by and test it out. FOBs can get deactivated easily by magnets or ear buds.

• If you lost your FOB from last year, come by and we can program one for you. They are $10 for a new FOB. Click here to buy one.

We are trying to keep hours UTD on the website since they change with sunlight. There will be a QR code on the fence but no hours posted.

We are keeping the diving board (at least for now). The guards will open and close it depending on how many swimmers there are. There can only be 2 people in the deep end if the diving board is open! Please respect the guards’ decision making and direction - this is not easy for them either.

New rules by the State of Oregon:

• No glass of any kind - bye bye glass tables!

• No diaper changing on the deck

• No swimming with open wounds

• No “hyperventilation or extended breath holding activities”

If you have any comments or suggestions, please reach out! And we still need lots of help outside the fence with weeding! If you need your hours, there is still plenty to do!
