Can programming assignments improve patience?
Coding rarely works perfectly on the first attempt, and that can teach students to be more patient. While working through repeated errors in a project, I looked at do my programming assignments and thought about how easily students can become frustrated when code refuses to work. I eventually learned that testing small sections and checking each error carefully was more effective than starting again. Has programming helped you become more patient when solving problems?
