Request a Party! Parties can be only requested May 1 - August 15. No parties will be booked in Sept due to difficulty with guard availability. To request a party, please fill out the form below. Requesting the a party below does not guarantee your spot. Please request your party with a minimum of 2 weeks notice , otherwise we may not be able to secure a lifeguard and confirm the party. Only one party can be booked per day. Sundays-Thursdays can be booked, however, no parties on Fridays or Saturdays. Those are heavily utilized by members and they have priority. Party will be confirmed by our coordinator before payment is due. Parties are $100 for members and $250 for non-members and can be paid online or with a check. Deposits are an additional $50 and must be paid with check dropped off with swim coordinator or in the pool drop box (by the gate). If the pool area is left clean, the deposit check will be destroyed. Parties limited to 2 hours and 25 guests. The pool needs to remain open to members. Book in advance and have a lifeguard staff your party of up to 25 guests. BBQ area Propane BBQ on site for members to use. Restrooms and Showers Boys and girls bathroom/changing rooms on site. Outdoor showers available. Lifeguards on Duty Lifeguards on duty during all pool open hours. Member discounts Get discounts on swim lessons and swim team. Chilax after a long day Lounge chairs and shade available at pool side. Toddler Pool Onsite A small toddler pool available for kids <6. About Cambridge Pool Season: Cambridge opens in late May and stays open until early/mid Sept. Run by Members: We have a work day for opening and closing to get things up and running and winterized. There is a 2-hour work required minimum/membership/year. Since it is member run, if members have ideas or want to change something, we fully encourage them to bring ideas forward and if approved, will have funn board support and funding. Amenities: On the property, there is a 20-yard, 3’-9’ deep pool and a ~8’ diameter, 1’ deep toddler pool. There is a grassy area, lounge chairs, umbrellas, a diving board, a propane BBQ (propane provided), and men’s and women’s bathrooms. The pool will have guards during all open hours. Swim Team: Anyone <18 can join the swim team if they can at least swim the length of a pool. Some kids start as early as 4! It is open to any member, costs $75 ($175 max per family) and they get ~30 hours of instruction. Community: Overall, it is a really great community with some really nice folks. Cost: Each household membership costs $500 to become an owner/member of the pool plus $600 for annual dues for one household (2025 rates). Yes, it sounds like A LOT for the first year, but all of it all goes toward the pool with very little extra. Payment Plans Accepted: We never want money to be the reason people can't join. We are extremely flexible with payments. We have had members make payments over anywhere from a month to a whole year! Extra Costs: Very rarely, members will be asked to fund large projects – for example, the pool was resurfaced a few years ago and each member was asked to pay $100 twice to help cover it. (The current board is quite against these extra charges so they will be avoided if possible.) The focus is on water acclimation and the student has so far been unable to go underwater on their own. They have also not started floating independently or with swimming actual strokes yet. If your student is not yet able to swim 10-15 yards on their own, but can float independently, then your student is INTERMEDIATE. This is student is just starting to try strokes but they are not doing it well or efficiently yet. If your swimmer can swim one length of the pool independently, then they should not be signing up for lessons at Cambridge, they should be on the SWIM TEAM. Swim team is designed to help swimmers improve their stroke techniques. It is a good deal for the money with about 30 hours of instruction for $75 for members, $100 non-members.
